Gracey Milton Florida is located in Santa Rosa County, Florida, and is known as the “Treasure of East Milton”. This area is a beautiful place to live, work, and play. Guy Thompson Community Center was named after him

The Guy Thompson Community Center was renamed after Milton’s longest-serving mayor. Clyde Lee Gracey passed away on February 2, 2021. He was the mayor of Milton for 14 years. He also served on the first Milton Board of Adjustments, the Milton Housing Authority, and the Elections Commission. He was a well-respected community leader. The BISSELL Pet Foundation is also preparing to sponsor a statewide emergency relief adoption event called “Empty the Shelters” in February. The event will offer reduced adoption fees for cats and dogs and is being held at a number of Florida shelters.

There are three items on the Economic and Business Development agenda today. One is a plan to change the priorities of a local government project. Another is a motion to amend the draft of a new law that governs the city of Milton. The third item is a cold-weather shelter hosted by the Panhandle Animal Welfare Society.
